Amazingly moisturizing hand soap

We're all taught to wash our hands regularly as part of good hygiene. And that has only become more important in the last year thanks to COVID.

Although we know it’s good for us, there is a downside - dry hands! I’ve always struggled with dry hands, especially in the harsh winters, because I wash my hands so often. But I recently tried a DIY hand soap that doesn’t dry out my hands. So much so that I don’t have to use hand cream after every wash!

Give it a try. It’s super easy to make!

What you’ll need:

  1. Castile soap

  2. Almond oil

  3. Essential oils (I used tea tree and lavender)

  4. Distilled water (or boiled water that’s been cooled)

How to make it:

  1. Mix equal parts castile soap and almond oil, whisking them together. You’ll notice that the consistency will thicken. (As seen in the video.)

  2. Add water to bring it to the desired consistency.

  3. Add essential oils to desired fragrance.

Yes, it is that simple and only takes a matter of minutes to make. Let me know how it goes for you.
