This smoothie is protein packed and full of vitamins, all those things that are good for you. There are many benefits to blueberries besides the delightful taste. Blueberries are the king of antioxidant foods. And of course, almond butter is full of protein.
As most recipes in The Clean Plate hitting all my objectives for making anything I consume; easy, delicious and not many ingredients. This smoothie is great for breakfast or afternoon snack!
½ cup frozen blueberries
½ cup frozen cauliflower
1 tbl unsweetened almond butter
¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
1 date, pitted and roughly chopped
Juice of ½ lime
Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until creamy and smooth, enjoy!
