DIY Dentist-approved toothpaste

Stop wasting your money on expensive, all natural toothpastes!

About a year ago I decided to try and make my own toothpaste. I was inspired by my mom who sometimes just dips her toothbrush in baking soda rather than using toothpaste. I found this recipe on Pinterest and have been using it ever since.

What you’ll need:

  1. Baking soda

  2. Glycerin

  3. Tea tree oil

  4. Peppermint oil

How to make it:

  1. Put 8 tbsp of baking soda in a glass jar

  2. Add 6 tbsp of glycerin

  3. Mix a few drops of tea tree oil and peppermint oil

I recommend mixing it fairly regularly as the glycerin will come to the top and the paste will be very dry once you get to the bottom.

Yes, it is that simple and only takes minutes to make! It’s faster and easier than going to buy it at the store.

Let me know how it goes for you.
