Juice for Sleep Apnea



This is a real thing for many people, both my brothers have sleep apnea. This is a serious issue when not addressed. I ran across this juice recipe, thought it would be beneficial to share. As usual, I did some research, here is the research I found on it.


Sleep apnea is another fairly common sleep disorder. Sleep apnea causes you to stop breathing for several seconds, as the result of blockage from the relaxing of the soft tissues in the back of your throat. This disruption in breathing can cause you to wake up. Eating more food containing fiber could help reduce an overproduction of mucus. Increasing mucus production may increase the severity of your sleep apnea symptoms.


Of course, this will not cure sleep apnea but it if helps then definitely worth drinking. I do not have sleep apnea however I will be drinking this juice as I enjoy the taste.


Ingredients

4 ribs Celery

2 pears

4 Carrots

1-inch of Ginger

1 lemon


In no particular order, press all ingredients through your juicer. Drink and enjoy!
