The heavy metal detox week was, similar to the fat flush, full of easy, delicious recipes!! I think my favorite was the Tex-Mex bowl which definitely hit the spot for my Mexican deprivation n the UK challenge!
This coming week, the menu focuses on Adrenal support. Adrenal fatigue is a very real thing, even recognized by Western Medicine and when our adrenals are overworked, it can leave us feeling depleted.
In addition to the lovely dinners we’ve planned Steph and I have been trying many of the other recipes from the Clean Plate cookbook. Personally have the black rice pudding with coconut and mango on my list and am excited to enjoy that!!
Our meals this week however will be:
Broiled Japanese Eggplant and Miso soup
Miso Chicken Bowl with Cucumbers and Furikake
Grilled Chicken Salad with Miso dressing
Olive Oil-Poached Halibut with Squash Ragu
Sweet Potato, Kale and Vegan Chorizo Sheet Pan Dinner (Wednesday We Eat Vegan)
Curry Chicken Lettuce Cups
BBQ Chicken Tacos with Jalapeno Slaw (grain free tortillas or butternut squash)

Now, on week three of The Clean Plate, I have almost all these staples in my house. The weekly shopping then is becoming just the fresh produce and meat/fish.
